  1. PICTURED ID--Pictured ID is required. A Hunter College ID or other student ID, driver's license or passport, are all acceptable forms of identification. Unfortunately without a proper ID a student cannot be allowed to test.

  2. RESTROOM BREAKS --It is advised that students take care of rest room stops before entering the exam area. Once an exam has been issued, test proctors are not allowed to have students leave and return to the testing room for any reason. Upon exiting the room, all testing material must be turned in. The Office of Access and Accommodations may provide special need students with waivers to this rule as needed. Documentation of waiver must be presented prior to the exam.

  3. UNATTENDED CHILDREN--Children are not allowed in the room used for testing. Further, children are not allowed to be unsupervised in the Hunter College Testing Center. Please make other arrangements for children.

  4. QUIET PLEASE--One of the purposes of the Testing Center is to provide you with a quiet, undisturbed environment. Please take special care as you arrive and leave to maintain that quiet atmosphere.  Standing outside the a testing room to talk to other students entering and exiting the area is prohibited.

  5. PROCESS--After seeing your picture ID, the proctor will log you in.  The proctor will then assign you to your seat.   All electronic devices including cell phones are to be turned off and put away. Kindly be advised that calculators are not permitted in the testing area.

  6. VIOLATION OF RULES--If a student violates the guidelines established by the Testing Center, the proctor has the right to void the students' exam.  For example students are not allowed to use calculators.  If a student violates this rule, the proctor has the right to void the students' exam.
